The short answer

- Vagaro shows its UK prices with higher figures struck through (£30 for one calendar, £90 for seven or more), and says you can cancel at any time with no cancellation fees.

- Vagaro's UK pricing page does not state its card processing rates, whether prices include VAT, or any commission on marketplace bookings.
- Vagaro's MySite website builder can connect your own domain or sell you one, but its monthly price is not published on Vagaro's UK pricing or MySite pages.
- Believe Websites costs £49 a month flat for any team size, takes 0% commission, and designs, builds and changes a bespoke website on your own domain for you, for £0 upfront.
- For one to three bookable calendars Vagaro is cheaper than Believe Websites; from four calendars upwards Vagaro costs more, before any website or card fees.
- Vagaro has a consumer marketplace, takes card payments today and has no minimum term. Believe Websites has no marketplace, its text reminders and card payments are built but not switched on, and it has a 12-month minimum term.
Vagaro is a big American booking and business platform for salons, spas, barbers, medical spas and fitness studios, and it sells in the UK with sterling pricing. It does a lot: calendar, payments and card readers, memberships, forms and SOAP notes, inventory, payroll, its own consumer marketplace, and a website builder called MySite.
We are a much smaller, narrower thing: a bespoke website on your own domain, built and changed for you, with booking inside it. So this is a comparison of what you pay as your team grows, what you end up with on the web, and who does the work. Every Vagaro figure below was read from Vagaro's own UK pages on 26 October 2026.
The short version
Vagaro charges by bookable calendar: £20 a month for one, then £10 more for each calendar, up to £80 a month for seven or more, at one location. It includes a listing on the Vagaro Marketplace. You can cancel at any time.
Believe Websites is £49 a month flat, whatever the size of your team, and includes a bespoke website designed and built for you, for £0 upfront, on your own domain. We take 0% of every booking. What we do not have is a marketplace, and our text reminders and card payments are built but not switched on yet.
What Vagaro's UK pricing page actually says
Vagaro shows each price next to a higher figure struck through; the struck-through figure is listed here as 'was'. The page does not say whether prices include VAT. Its multi-location FAQ describes each extra calendar licence as costing "$10 (US)", while the UK price selector shows £10 steps.
| Bookable calendars | Monthly price | Struck-through price shown |
|---|---|---|
| 1 (just me) | £20 | £30 |
| 2 | £30 | £40 |
| 3 | £40 | £50 |
| 4 | £50 | £60 |
| 5 | £60 | £70 |
| 6 | £70 | £80 |
| 7 or more | £80extra staff beyond seven at no extra cost | £90 |
Vagaro lists what comes with every plan: integrated payments and a free card reader when you sign up for Vagaro Merchant Services, calendar and resource management, a waitlist, memberships, packages and gift certificates, 1,000 free emails a month, advanced reporting, loyalty programmes, SOAP notes, inventory, invoices, a listing on the Vagaro Marketplace, unlimited notifications and appointment reminders, and online booking through Vagaro, Instagram, Facebook and Apple Maps. There is a 30-day free trial.
What the pricing page does not say is just as useful to know. It publishes no card processing rate, does not say whether its prices include VAT, and does not mention any commission on bookings that come from its marketplace. If those matter to you, and they usually do, ask Vagaro before you sign up.
The website, and the domain
Vagaro's website product is MySite, an automated website builder that pulls in your services, staff, prices and online shop. Vagaro's MySite page says you can buy a domain through Vagaro or connect your own. It also advertises professional web design services, shown as £699 crossed out and "FREE" as a limited-time offer, with the note "Other fees may apply".
MySite is not in the "included with every plan" list on the pricing page, and neither page publishes a monthly price for it. So we cannot tell you what a Vagaro calendar plus a Vagaro website on your own domain costs each month; Vagaro's sales team can.

bespoke site on your own domain, built and changed for you
Subscription only, at one location, at prices read on 26 October 2026. Vagaro's MySite monthly price, card processing rates and VAT treatment are not published on its UK pricing page, so they are not included. Believe Websites does not take card payments yet.
The line crosses at four. A one-to-three-person business pays Vagaro less than it pays us for the booking software. From four bookable calendars, Vagaro's subscription alone is more than our £49, and ours already includes the website.

What the £49 pays for with us
- A bespoke website, designed around your business — your photos, treatments, prices, reviews and area — not a template that fills itself in.
- Your own domain, something like www.yourbusiness.co.uk, bought and connected for you.
- Changes done for you. New prices, new hours, a new team member: message us. Unlimited small changes, fair use.
- Your booking system inside the site, for unlimited team members, with email confirmations and reminders.
- Analytics, a monthly report and an AI Search Readiness score, so you can see what is in place and how the site is doing.
- A new article every month about your town and your services, written to be read by search engines and AI assistants.
- 0% commission on every booking, from anyone.
The whole offer is on our home page. After the 12-month minimum term it carries on month to month, and the website can become yours.
Being found when people ask an AI
More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI overview where to book and act on the answer. Those systems answer from what they can read on the open web: clear pages about what you do, where you are, what you charge, and real reviews. Vagaro says MySite helps you improve SEO; what it achieves depends on what goes on the site.
Every site we build is set up with structured data, a page for each service, clear business details and a monthly article, and your dashboard shows an AI Search Readiness score so you can see what is there.
Where Vagaro genuinely wins
- It is cheaper for small teams. One calendar is £20 a month and three are £40. We are £49 whatever the size.
- It has a marketplace. Every plan includes a listing on the Vagaro Marketplace, where people browse for somewhere to book. We do not run a marketplace and will not send you strangers.
- Payments work today. Integrated payments, card readers and a free reader with Vagaro Merchant Services. Our card payments are built but not switched on yet.
- Reminders beyond email. Vagaro lists unlimited notifications and appointment reminders on every plan. Ours go by email; text reminders are built but not switched on.
- Far more business software. SOAP notes, memberships, packages, inventory, payroll, classes and multi-location tools. We are a website with booking, not a full business management system.
- No minimum term. Vagaro says you can cancel at any time with no cancellation fees, and gives you a 30-day free trial. We ask for a 12-month minimum term, because we build the site for nothing up front.

Common questions
- How much does Vagaro cost in the UK?
- Vagaro's UK pricing page, read on 26 October 2026, lists £20 a month for one bookable calendar at a single location, then £30 for two, £40 for three, £50 for four, £60 for five, £70 for six and £80 for seven or more. - Does Vagaro include a website on my own domain?
- Vagaro's website builder, MySite, lets you buy a domain through Vagaro or connect your own. MySite is not listed among the features included with every plan, and its monthly price is not published on Vagaro's UK pricing or MySite pages. Believe Websites designs, builds and changes a bespoke website on your own domain as part of its £49 a month.
- Is Believe Websites cheaper than Vagaro?
- Not for small teams. Vagaro is £20 a month for one calendar and £40 for three, less than Believe Websites' £49. From four bookable calendars Vagaro's subscription is £50 or more, before any website cost, while Believe Websites stays at £49 with the website included.
- Does Vagaro take commission on bookings?
- Vagaro's UK pricing page does not mention any commission, and it includes a listing on the Vagaro Marketplace with every plan. It also does not publish its card processing rates. Ask Vagaro directly about both. Believe Websites takes 0% commission on every booking and does not run a marketplace.
- Is there a contract with either?
- Vagaro says you can cancel at any time with no cancellation fees, and offers a 30-day free trial. Believe Websites has a 12-month minimum term, because the website is designed and built for £0 upfront, and then continues month to month; after that the site can become yours.
