Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Believe Websites, a service operated by BelieveX Ltd (company number 13225381, registered in England and Wales). By submitting our questionnaire or subscribing to our hosting plan, you agree to these terms.

The service

We design and build a website for your business at no charge. There is no fee for the design or build. To keep your website live, you need an active hosting subscription.

Hosting plan and pricing

Once you approve your website, it goes live on a hosting plan of £50 per month, billed monthly via Stripe. This includes hosting, and unlimited reasonable requests to update your website's content through your dashboard.

The hosting plan has a minimum term of 12 months from your first payment. After the minimum term ends, the plan continues on a rolling monthly basis until you cancel.

Cancelling

You can cancel your subscription from your account dashboard at any time. If you cancel after your 12-month minimum term has ended, your website will stay live until the end of your current billing month and then come down. If you cancel before the end of your minimum term, you remain responsible for the remaining payments due under that term — we'll contact you directly to arrange this rather than taking payment automatically.

If you're a consumer in the UK, you may also have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss cancelling and we'll talk you through your options.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. If a payment fails, we'll try again and let you know — if it's not resolved within 14 days, we may pause your website until payment is made.

Your website and content

You own the content you give us (your business information, photos, and branding) and the rights to use your finished website while you're a customer. If you cancel, we can provide a copy of your website's content on request. The underlying design system, templates and code we use to build and run websites remain our property.

You're responsible for making sure the information and photos you give us are accurate and that you have the right to use them. We may decline to publish content that's unlawful, misleading, or breaches someone else's rights.

Domains

If you don't already own a domain, we'll help you register one. Domain registration and renewal costs, where applicable, will always be discussed with you before you're charged for them.

Changes to the service

We may update or improve the service over time, and may update these terms or our pricing for new customers. If we change pricing or these terms in a way that affects existing customers, we'll give you reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

We'll provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we don't guarantee specific business outcomes (such as search rankings or enquiry volumes) from having a website with us. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
